Mild Mysteries

Does anyone have any suggestions as to some current authors who write along the lines of,"Oh,by the by,there's a body in the library"?
So many  mainstream book clubs offer mysteries which are saturated in violence. As marginally weird as this is  for me,the murder of a character is an aside and the search for the "bad guy" is the cream.

Here's a site I browse a lot:

They have a mystery section. Some cozy mysteries aren't too focused on the mystery quite enough, but very few of them are gory.

My favourites are Donna Andrews, Earlene Fowler, Lyn Hamilton, Victoria Laurie, Bill Crider ... And the list goes on!

I also highly recommend Donna Andrews & Earlene Fowler, not having read the others (adding to lengthy list), and add Deborah Donnelly, Patricia H. Rushford, & Rett PacPherson as a few favorites of mine.
